Archiving

Talanoa: Journal of Education, Economics, and Humanities utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This system permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

In addition to LOCKSS, the journal also participates in the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure secure and permanent archiving for all published scholarly content. These digital preservation platforms allow the journal’s publications to remain accessible to the public, researchers, and academic institutions worldwide in the long term, safeguarding the academic record from digital loss or server technical failures.
